We'll be driving from Charleston to Savannah and I'm wondering if its possible to do a coastal drive with all of the varous water inlets? Are there bridges/fairies across all of them or are you really forced to go back to 95?

If you can do a coastal drive, how long should it take?

Thanks!

17, to 21, to Beaufort, to 170, back to 17 (Speedway Blvd.), across the cable span bridge directly into historic downtown Savannah.

2.5 hr drive according to mapquest. 2 hour drive on I-95. Not that much of a difference according to the website time wise. I will be taking the scenic route from now on when I visit my mom.
