Does anyone know of a good old fashioned chocolate candy store or two in the Charleston area? I passed by a Russell Stover outlet near Lake Marion, but was looking for a place closer to Charleston that made them fresh on the premises. Thanks!

There is one on the Market downtown, but I don't know the name....

There is also one in Pawleys Island on the way to Myrtle Beach by the Hammock shop...

There is a confectionary store by the cinema in Mt Pleasant, but I would not call it old fashioned.

The one OleTomCat suggested is on the corner of East Bay and Market street.

River Street Sweets is at 100 N. Market St. and Savannah Candy Co. is at 32 N. Market Street - both feature homemade chocolate, pralines, candied almonds and pecans, etc. Yummy!!

Just off the top of your heads, do these places deliver locally. I am quite a few thousand miles away from my wife and want to get her something sweet.

Those stores would not as they are geared toward the tourist.
Try this shop, they have great goodies as someone mentioned earlier....
