I am a dreamer from Roanoke, VA and have my sights set on Charleston, SC along with a few other cities around the country to relocate to in 2011.

I found a map from Miami, FL that someone did to show the "desired" areas as well as the "undesirable" areas and everything in between. The dark green represents the nicest parts of town and the red represents the wort.

I have been to Charleston and the surrounding area around 10 times in the past year and realize it's a street by street type of city but I thought this was a really neat and easy to use tool to help anyone out that is unfamiliar with a city.

If anyone on here is computer savvy and knows the area well I'd love to see a similar map done of the Charleston area. Thanks!

You know you can also go to zillow.com and zoom in on any part of any city. You can pretty much tell by the price of houses which neighborhoods/streets are the "good" ones as long as you know the "average" house price and how much you can afford. Good luck.
