When friends and relatives come to visit us, we usually direct them to the Brass Pineapple B&B. It's located in a beautifully restored 1910 Victorian house about a block from the State Capitol, about a mile and a half from downtown and less than 10 minutes from the airport. The rates are in the same ballpark as a chain hotel anyway, and Lisa will make you feel right at home. It's definitely worth checking out.
