Used sporting equipment store? (Charlotte, Mooresville: buying, live in, price) - North Carolina (NC) - City-Data Forum

My wife and I are looking to buy an exercise bike and I know there are used sporting good stores around but I have no idea where they are. I live in Mooresville but I have no problem going to Charlotte or anywhere in between of course.

I thought it would be a good idea to check there before buying a new one.

Play It Again Sports || Store Locations looks like there is at least one closer to you than Charlotte.

You should also check Craigslist and the classifieds in the Observer. There are always people looking to get rid of their clothes racks, a.k.a. exercise equipment.

There's a Play It Again Sports store in Mooresville....in the smaller stip mall on 150 that's behind Cook-Out...the one where Tuesday Morning is. If you were going to Walmart, you'd make a left at Appleby's.

I would check out PIAS, but only for price research. You should be able to get one on Craigs List cheaper.

I found that one and found exactly what I was looking for. In great shape about $150 or so cheaper than the new one.
