Any thoughts on how these neighborhoods differ--pluses and minuses? We are empty nesters. Thanks!

Anniston and River Run are both in Davidson (which is Mecklenburg County).

Both have homes built at the height of the real estate market (2006ish) which means they were overpriced and people paid more than they're ever going to be worth again. This can be good news for you the buyer.

River Run is older and more established, many of its homes were constructed in the 1990's. In my opinion, it would make a better choice for its stability. Your realtor should be able to guide you on getting the most for your money in either neighborhood.

Iredell is great if you don't have to go into Charlotte every day. If you do, I'd live in Davidson.
