Can anyone help me out with their experience getting bobcat tickets.
I would like to go to a few games this year starting with the knicks or rockets over thanksgiving. I really would like to get some tix as cheap as possible and be in the lower sections.
my question is does anyone have any experience buying from stubhub and getting good deals?...or can tix be had at the arena on game day for a discount?
Why not take advantage of some of the mini plans. I think you can get as low as 5 games and they include some of the more popular teams. YOu are not going to get tickets in lower sections for 5.00 unless you buy them from someone on the street after half time and I don't even think you will then.
You can usually get a better deal off Craigslist than Stubhub. You can try the scalpers as well outside the arena. But you won't get a lower level seat for $5... That's for sure. Best you'll probably do there is $20-$25. As baybook suggested, try one of their mini-plans. They are great deals.
I never buy tickets through ticketmaster.... I dont want crappy seats or to be ripped off.
I got pre season tickets 2 fridays ago for $20 each in the lower section. Last year, I went to about 4 games.... the Cav's were the most expensive and I sat in the uppers (Shaq and Lebron). Ive never sat in the lowers in the 09-10 season unless I got tickets through work.
Craigslist always had good deals. eBaY also has good deals, esp a few days before game time. I recommend seeing the scalpers that stand about 50 feet from the box office.
I agree with Orangeish, Nativechief and Daysofthunder. I never buy tickets in advance now. I just walk down and get tickets from scalpers outside the arena. You won't get them for $5, I assume that was a joke, but you can get good deals.

Actually, theres a guy named Shawn, who runs a scalping company (for lack of a batter term) called Event Witness. He sells $5 bobcat tickets sometimes. He had $5 seats for their home opener. They are crappy seats, but, they were $5.
