Thanks for the insight. Maybe it was an off night. I really do like the venue. The band was very accessible and I got some great pictures.
I saw my first concert in 1967 (Steppenwolf) and I have been to two pop festivals and seen literally thousands of performers from open mikes to the Who, Jimi Hendrix, and the Rolling Stones. I have been to concerts in rooms not much larger than closets and open fields with an outdoor stage at one end.
I have seen every permutation of substance use from alcohol to heroin, worked in OD tents a couple of times, and been to a concert at a raceway where there were so many quaalude freaks in the bathroom hiding from the sun that you had to body surf in to pee.
I have never however, been to a concert where someone causing a disturbance would not desiast if asked politely, unless they were too drunk to know what you were saying. When we confronted these girls they continued screaming, literally in our faces. I hope that this was not how they were raised. I am glad they are not my daughters, and I pity the poor man or woman who decides that one of them would make a good mate.
