Looking for some recommendations on a landscaping service in the S. Charlotte/near SC border area. I would love to have a healthy green lawn this year for a change. Our yard is not that large, but there are many unhealthy areas with weeds and thinning grass. ::sigh::

I use Irrigation Wizard, Carlos since I am in Hickory but he works in the Charlotte area too.

He did my sod, irrigation and all of our extensive horticulture. Great prices!

An old friend of mine also works in the area -he is based out of Pineville/Weddington area but I can't vouch for his work personally-- does make Angie's List for the past 4+ years

I would recommend Tru-Green. They provide excellent service and advice. I'm in Cornelius, but I am sure they provide service all over the Charlotte area.

Me too...but the (tiny) front yard! I'd do it myself but we need to add topsoil to raise the level, it's well below the driveway and sidewalks and is a pond whenever it rains....a bit more work than I'd like to do myself (and my back would rather I not do it!)

We use Mooreseville Landscaping (Tim Valentine) since we moved here about 5 months ago for landscaping and getting ready to switch to Tru Green from another provider.
