Yeah for some reason there are a lot of people who think that Stewart's joke was a slam on CLT. I guess it takes a general level of comprehension for many people to understand modern day comedians. His point was clear: Benghazi isn't in America, so it is not in our national interest. Charlotte is in America, and would be in our national interest if it were being attacked. That is pretty elementary.
Charlotte is usually confused with all the other "Ch" sounding cities, usually Charleston, SC, or people do think Charlotte is in SC.
