California-based Niagara Bottling, which produces private-label bottled water for Walmart, Costco, Lowe's and others, plans to open a plant in Mooresville. It will employ 66 at average annual wages of $39,447. It considered locations in at least eight states.

Yes it does come from Lake Norman, but I am thinking the Mooresville intake is upstream from where this particular sewage spill occurred. However one of the intakes for CMUD is just downstream from this sewage.

Duh- they treat the water first, not just pipe into homes.
The sewage spillage was in Cornelius (read different county).
Plus-as Wolf Howl says, many homes in Mooresville, and in fact almost all in 28117 (the Lake area) have individual or community wells. As he says "YUM, YUM"

I buy bottle water the walmart brand most of the time because we have hard well water with no softner.
We recycle of couse since it is state law.
I can't wait til bottles say made in Mooresville as I try to buy NC products when I can as I know I'm supporting in state pay check and job for someone.
