Just wondering... when we have our summer droughts and water restrictions, who gets the water? The residents or the big water bottling company?

Gotta wonder why anyone buys water in bottles. Mooresville water is from Lake Norman.
Oh wait, didn't they just have a sewage spill which shut down the lake?

Yes it does come from Lake Norman, but I am thinking the Mooresville intake is upstream from where this particular sewage spill occurred. However one of the intakes for CMUD is just downstream from this sewage.

Duh- they treat the water first, not just pipe into homes.
The sewage spillage was in Cornelius (read different county).

Plus-as Wolf Howl says, many homes in Mooresville, and in fact almost all in 28117 (the Lake area) have individual or community wells. As he says "YUM, YUM"
