I had strong feelings that Cedar Fair would do well as nice park Knotts Berry Farm is. I loved this place.
I just hope they would do something with Hurler roller coaster. ( name from movie Wayne's World).
I like wooden roller coasters but this coaster makes you feel like you been a car wreck and need a chiropractor.

My kids said the same about Hurler. I only watched as they went. Cedar Point draws people from all over too. Wonder which direction they will eventually take the park in? It does have great potential to expand, because as it stands now it really is good for its size.

Cedar Park also owns Dorney Park, which is a huge attraction in the Philadelphia area. It's well run & maintained & holds it's own against 6 Flags in Jackson, NJ. This should be a very good thing for the region.
I wouldn't be shocked if they separated the amusement park and the waterpark. Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ did that many years ago...just another way for them to make more money. They bought more land adjacent to the main park - and built a nice, big waterpark. Of course, it's a separate admission fee...and not cheap either.
Expansion of water park maybe but there is not much land on that side and they would have to buy Camp Wilderness resort.
I think they will expand the land on the other side of the Hurler.
I actually like beaten black and blue by The Hurler. I would support adding even more kinetic action to it.
