The health-care system plans a single-story, 67,280-square-foot hospital with private rooms. It will feature activity and living areas that open to self-contained landscaped courtyards for outdoor recreation in a private, secure environment.
A 10,000-square-foot medical-office building also is planned.
Unlike in Huntersville, the land doesnt have to be rezoned or next door to housing development.
There is mixed reviews from Davidson, the main concern is it going to be located on a 2 lane road.
I was kinda perplex when they mention this road was Hwy 73 in Davidson. I was thinking how do you get to downtown Davidson from Hwy 73 and you dont from that road. There a road you take from 73 to Davison.
This apparently on the outskirts of Davidson which is good but Highway 73 already is a high traffic road and shorter route to get to Concord from Huntersville.
My guess it will be the back side of River Run Country Club.
Davidson should have Carolina Health Care pay for widening a mile in each direction of 73 to handle the extra traffic.
