Ok everybody, we actually get to vote "for real", not the little City Data poll I started before. The USA Bid committee is factoring in how much online support each city gets in determining the winners. I signed the petition and having spent the whole weekend at a soccer tournament in Charlotte you can see that soccer is becoming huge here. The players were fantastic, the standard was phenomenal and the weather was out of this world.

I know!!!! I tried it too, it would have been great to post the banner on here, but oh well.

I'm hoping that one of the news channels picks up on this and asks folks to vote, or the Observer. That would help get the word out too.

I was not aware that the US were bidding for the 2018/2022 world cup. Just saw this and thought hey, why not - we had it in 2006.... so my vote is yours!
