No trademark food (e.g. New York Pizza; Philly Cheese Steak) just the generic foods that all restaurants serve in every city across the country. But, they are good.
People in the Charlotte region like their livermush. OK, it's not called "Charlotte livermush" but this is the only area I've lived where you're likely to find it on the menu.
Errrr, but YOU altered the name to something it isn't. It's not a tabby cat or a cheetah - it's a Bobcat. (And this was your #1 reason?!?)
I stopped reading after this.
They are changing the name to Cats instead of Bobcats. But now they are trying to get the name Hornets back. My comment is that if they change it to The Cats it would be generic, right?

Good one! I guess that would be of a southern food not a Charlotte Original.
Mint Hill is not part of Charlotte! So why start a beat Charlotte thread... there are several of those here! Reopen one of them and put your complaints in that!
Sorry, but could not resist the temptation of participating in this beat the city thread!!!!
Mint Hill is a suburb of Charlotte and is a part of Charlotte.
