I am thinking of relocating to Charlotte from NN VA...with my 7yr old...I dont know too much about Charlotte but I am looking for some factual information. I want to know if the school system there is good or below average. I would also like to know if anyone here know or works for Bell South and if that is a good company seeing as I now work for Verizon. I would also like to know where would be a good place to move to an area where I can feel safe with my child. I open to any good information to help me with my decision to relocate to charlotte.

Gina, many of these questions have been answered before on these threads. Have you tried reading back on some of them yet? It can be a great way to "catch up"

Basically, there are good schools to be found in Charlotte - though not everywhere. Where you choose to live will depend largely on how much you can afford and where you will work. Any ideas how much you can spend?
