Hi Everyone,

I have a friend moving here from up north and wanted to know if you guys had any suggestions for kid/family friendly restaurants?

Thanks in advance!

There's a whole slew of places along Speedway Blvd for kid friendly restaurants. There's On the Border, TGI Friday's, Sticky Fingers. There's also PDQ which is run by the people that own Tenders in Huntersville just to name a few.

Afton Tavern is a great locally owned option.

IKEA. They often have free meal days, too!

I second Afton Tavern! Its in Afton Village off exit 54...also they have a pizza place called Paparoni's that looks very kid friendly.
But there are plenty of options in the Concord Mills area too.

I really liked the Club Sandwich that I had at Afton Tavern when I ate there.
