I have an issue I have been dealing with for about a month trying to figure out. I have a boat that I want to put a name on with a small scene in the background. I have picture that is somewhat of a guide but I want to change it up alittle and put my boat name on it. I cannot find anyone to draw this. All sign places will make the sign if I have the artwork no problem, but even they cannot point me to someone that can draw it. My wife suggested I try a tattoo studio. I went to 3 and they do not want to draw something and not tattoo it. Even for money. I did find a graphic designer who offered to do it for 250.00. That was really high for a little picture. I am willing to pay but not crazy. Hopefully someone on here knows a great artist that can help or point me in a direction. I have even asked a couple High school kids but no takers.

Thanks for any input.

PM me and let me see what it looks like. I may be able to help depending on how much time it would take to recreate.

Honestly, $250.00 is a deal! Art is very labor intensive and that is why it is costly. Another piece of advice is contact local art groups- Matthews Artist Guild or Guild of Charlotte Artists, etc. Someone may do it-

That may or may not be high. I don't exactly understand what you want - a watercolor rendition of a scene, with your boat in it? Or pen & ink? Or acrylic on canvas? Or pencil? Or what?

If Felt can't help you, write me and give me more info. I do fine art in several media. $250 might be reasonable for a commissioned piece of artwork, depending on a lot of factors!
