I'm looking for a mothers day out program for my 1 year old, Matthews area. I would like to be able to volunteer at my older kids schools, go to a dr. appt., haircut when I need to. My mom watches my DS now, and haven't been able to talk her into coming to NC with us, YET!

I don't know if this would be considered a mothers day out program but you could probably check out Precious Playtime ... I think they have 2 locations in ballantyne which is not very far from Matthews. preciousplaytime.com is the site to go to for info. I've heard they're good. Hope this helps.

Southbrook Church in Weddington offers Tues/Th 9-12pm. The cost is $180. You can also try Carmel Baptist in Matthews and Matthews United Methodist.

There's also Kids r Kids in Stalllings which is a traditional daycare.

I've heard great things about all of the above!

A Parents Time Out in Mint Hill is great. You can pay by the hour or do half or full day programs.
