And you may want to checkout Cheesecake Factory as they have more limited locations. At the front center of the mall. Sort of a tourist destination for many out of town visitors.

Here is another close option.

If you are looking for large number of smaller local shops in sort of a retro setting, I highly recommend you visit Park Road Shopping Center. It's a proto-typical 1950s Populuxe shopping center and the first of this type built in Charlotte. Montford drive is known for its small local eating establishments that are good for lunch. If you really want to go retro, the lunch counter in the bowling alley is really good.

This is a great long established area of Charlotte which oddly doesn't get talked about much here.

I hadn't realized that Park Road Shopping Center was close to South Park Mall geographically. I have been there many times actually. I love the Flying Biscuit in there better than the one close to me. Plus Total Wine across the street. I have to google map Montford.

Hey, I honestly think Whole Foods is the best place to eat in South Park! I eat there every time I'm in the area. It's quick, healthy, no tipping, and excellent options for those with diet restrictions.
