Does anyone know where I can buy Hatch chiles from New Mexico around Charlotte? I've heard Harris Teeter has had them in the past. Maybe farmer's market somewhere? Thanks

If Fresh Market doesn't have them I'd try the Atlantic Farmers Market in the strip mall at the intersection of Central/Eastway. I haven't been inside, and it looks kind of dumpy, but I've heard they have the best selection of chiles in Charlotte. Supposedly that's where all the Hispanic people in Charlotte go for their peppers.

We had a poster on the Raleigh forum asking about this a while ago - she got hers from Harris Teeter and they roasted them as well. I recently saw some at Whole Foods and Harris Teeter both (albeit in Raleigh) in the past week for 99 cents/pound.
