Hello I would like some input on how the job market is in Charlotte for Administrative Assistants and what the School System is like? I currently live in Richmond, VA where I'm employed by the state with the Dept. of Medical Assistance Services. I have looked up some jobs in Charlotte but none with the state gear towards what I do here.... Are there alot of State Agency jobs there? or Alot of Administrative Assistant jobs with great pay?

Also I have a 12yr old son who needs a structured school system... he attends a public school now that has a Miltary Based type of school that teaches normal academics as well as a structure school setting. Do Charlotte have any thing like this and is the school system great? Please Help!!!

Just a thought - if you are looking for state jobs, you should be looking in the Raleigh area.

It totally depends on where you live in Charlotte as to how "good" the school is. At least, that is my opinion.

I seem to notice a fair amount of Administrative Assistant jobs out there, but I highly doubt you'd consider the pay great.

See link to the school that might be what you are looking for. You can see what you need to apply etc.

About Our School

As for jobs, it's hit or miss here. Some find jobs instantly and others don't. You will hear from both on here. And I do have to say the jobs you are looking for is a very high demand here and such positions get hundreds of applicants. However you might have something unique that employers are looking for and will get hired quickly. All you can do is apply and see.

Anifani is correct for state level jobs, it's more plentiful in Raleigh.
