I currently live in Matthews. If I get this job, I'll probably move to avoid a long commute.
Schools aren't an issue, although we may have to be close to UNCC for lil Dee, once he decides where he wants to go, but he can drive there so it's no biggie.
I'm looking for apartments, no more than $1100/month for 2bdr. I like to be close to shopping, such as Target, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.
I hear Concord is nice, and Huntersville. I'm just not sure where to look in those areas. Are there any apartments in Lake Norman?
Any information is greatly appreciated.

There is apartments right there off IBM Drive called The Vinoy at Innovation Park, they have 2 bedroom in your price point range. You could go home for lunch.
If you do want to live in apartments near shopping, there is alot of new apartments by Northlake mall which was built within the past decade. A Target and other box stores are nearby too
I started a photo thread on various new apartments five years ago and have been updating since.
Now the weather finally warm I can go take pictures of even more new apartments
In your price point, you might want to look in Madison Square, its literally right beside Target (with a tree buffer) and across the street from the mall.
Its picture is at post 11

Its located at the end of Harris, basically a straight shot.
I shown some others in area, and if I was you I would look into them. With new apartment saturation, it is a benefit to you the renter depending on how much square footage you want with those two bedrooms.
Im giving you options, there is one complex Im aware of in Concord, it is older and I had a friend that lived there and it was alright but that mall area is overly develop it has a Walmart and traffic is insane.
They are called Bexley.
Your job is ideal location for both as it right in middle about 10 minutes to either Concord Mills or Northlake.
Keep us updated in what you decide.
