my neighbor lets his dog and cat dump anywhere...

I stepped in a nice fresh pile of it a few weeks ago.

I went out, scooped it up with a bag and dumped in on his property. Next time I will leave it on their front steps.

Seen this around my neighborhood too, and it seems really weird. If you went through the trouble of scooping and bagging why not toss it too? I walk around with sometimes multiple filled poop bags, but that's the price of having dogs.

Thanks, DaBurbsMan, for posting that video. I don't know why the guy couldn't just carry it home and toss it in the trashcan -- which is what we do with the bags we pick up. (Does that make us enablers? Lol)

When my sheltie was alive I use to ponder what am I supposed to do with the bag. Often she pooped it was like marbles and I had hunt where did she drop lol and hope I dont step or guide her to edge of woods if they are nearby since she gives warning by hunting that perfect dropped spot as she didnt like an audience.

Be grateful they made effort to scoop
If there are no recepticals, your'e supposed to carry the bag to YOUR trash. Not having disposals all over is not feasable and people need to dispose of it and not cause more work for utilities - it's their dog. IMHO. I don't mind if people use my garbage cans when their out on street to dispose of the little doody, helps us all.

I agree.

SOMEBODY has to carry it to a trash can... that somebody should be the dog owner. It's not rocket science. If you don't want to carry your dog poop half a mile don't walk your dog half a mile from the trash can. It's really pretty simple.
