It's time for the pups yearly vaccinations. I want to switch vets. We live close to Ballantyne and it seems like there are lots of vets in the area. I want to hear from personal experience. Which vet offices in that area do you like? Thanks!

Atrium Animal on Pineville-Matthews Road is excellent and I recommend them completely. Been taking our cats there for years and years.

We LOVE Piper Glen Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly and courteous and quick to respond, and all the doctors act like they really care about our pets.

When we lived a little further up the road, our pets used to go to Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital. I would also recommend them.

We've tried another vet in the Ballantyne area I would NOT recommend, but due to forum rules about "consumer complaints" I can't say who they are. DM me if you want to hear more.

Providence Veterinary near Trader Joe's is excellent. We took our dogs there for years before we moved away.

This is where I've been taking my chocolate lab for years. Pretty satisfied to this point.

Curtsinger Animal Hospital. It is in "Indian Land" about 2 minutes over the SC border on 521. Dr. Curtsinger is an ABVP diplomate, board-certified for small animal care. Dr. Miller is also excellent. His is a small practice, and we couldn't be happier with them.

There is one other vet hospital I would heartily not recommend in the area, but seeing the "consumer complaints" comment above I won't mention it here. (It hasn't been recommended in this thread yet, though.)
