JP Orleans -- Peach Orchard Estates near Harrisburg? (mortgage, neighborhood)

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any information on this neighborhood? If you live there, have bought, are looking...etc. My parents are thinking about buying here and wanted to get any feedback!

The original developer, Baker Residential, went belly up during the Mortgage disaster. The community is now being developed by Orleans. They do not, but I heard they may have amenities built for the community. They are on community well water and it is very high in minerals - this would be a concern for me. Otherwise it's in decent area as long as your parents stay on the Harrisburg side of 485 they are safe. The other side goes Harlem.

Just be aware that there is two clarifier treatment tanks on northwest corner of the community. If you live close to that area you will hear an audible drone.
