Hi! My boyfriend and I are going down to NC next week. We are planning on spending some time in Charlotte and checking out a few areas to possible relocate to. I am a teacher and he is a fire alarm tech, so being closer to the city would probably be out best bet (we are thinking). We are in our early 30s and looking to start a family within the next few years. If anyone has any info on neighborhoods in and/or around Charlotte, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Once you know where you will be working, it will be easier to suggest areas. Charlotte is a large city with lots of suburbs. Also with the job locations, let us know budget.

Contact Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools - they actually have about 90 teacher vacancies right now so you might luck up with a job.

Let the job location guide you toward a living location.

Charlotte is a very spread out suburban city. Where to live depends on your job and budget
