Can anyone recommend a townhouse development in Ballantine or Union County? My wife, son and I are moving to Charlotte this summer, and we would like to spend between $1,000 and $1,500 per month.

Also, if there are any nice, newish rental complexes that have 2 or 3 bedroom apartments in that price range, please let me know.

Thanks

There are usually some townhouses for rent in Blakeney Greens in the new Blakeney area - adjacent to Ballantyne(off of Rea rd). It's a mix of townhouses and single family homes (very nice homes at that). Community pool, nice sidewalks, a walking trail etc. Rent is usually less than 1500 per month. It's a great neighborhood that is within walking distance to about anything you'd ever need. There's also a brand new apartment complex just on the other side of Ardrey Kell. They look spectacular.

Thanks for your replies. Are there any specific names of the developments that I can look up besides Blakeney Green? I'd like to create a list of a few to look at when I come down in a few weekends.

I haven't been here but these apartments are suppose to have a home feel and one of the floor plans is 1,467 sq ft with a different type of setup than normal setups they have floor plans you can see. I work for the company that runs it but I have not been there and only hear chatter through the grape vine just for the record. Right now they are in lease up since it's brand new.

Not promoting just saying it's an option.

Check craigslist. I've been looking there and they have several for rent.
