Hello, interested in planting a tree or shrub along the back of the house to hide the siding that is skinny and tolerant of our soil in south Charlotte. Any ideas? No taller than 15 ft at maturity. Thanks!
If it the south or west side of the house, you could espalier a fig against the house and save some $ on A/C.
Also, do you mean skinny as in 12ft x 3ft (how I interpret it) or skinny as in 3ft by 3ft (I'd consider this narrow or columnar)?
