Yes that is correct, it is still there unoccupied. There are still relics of the old amusement park there too like the castle. The building itself is decaying as it has been open to the elements and has been vandalized. A number of different people have owned the property since those days and all have promised to they were going to restore it back to what it was supposed to be. Of late there was a plan to turn it into luxury condos, but the collapse of the real estate market ended that plan, though I don't think it was any more serious than the rest.
The building probably has safety issues now from not being maintained , but from what I understand, nobody is willing to pay the demo costs.
