Hi All,

I was working as a offshore contractor for BOFA from TCS,India. Now I moved from TCS to another one IT organisation which is also working as a contractor for BOFA.Now I am about to start work as BOFA contractor again from this new organisation.

I got released from TCS BOFA contract on June 2015.BOFA BGC is initiated again in the new organisation and it is in progress.I heard that once we released from BOFA services we should not join back again within 6 months. Is it applicable only for direct employees of BOFA or contractors also?..Because I got released from previous contract on June and now it is September. So it has been only 3 months I got released.

Please clarify whether there is any rule like this and whether it will affect my BGC.

That rule doesn't apply to direct employees, so it must be a contractor rule.

Assuming you've reached the contract limit (18 or 24 mo) I believe there's a 3 month wait at BOA before you can start a new contract With them.

I don't think that is an issue unless your non-compete agreement with your previous employer oppose that. Even in that case that is between your previous employer and you. Just my thought..

This has nothing to do with non-compete agreements.
