Thought it would be interesting to have. I know we as a city have many projects going on. I haven't seen a thread dedicated to cancelled projects. Hey it happens to everyone including Charlotte.

Interesting this was denied. Would have been a great expansion of the Midtown area.

yea it kinda threw me off for a second because we all know that developments get approved left and right without little imput from the surrounding residents. I wonder if there where any talks of scaling the project at all?

I suspect it was because there are a lot of people who don't want to see Cherry gentrified.

For this particular area I suspect this to be one of many that might possibly get denied or put back on the drawing board.

I'm guessing it was because of the height of the project. Will probably get a scaled down version. As long as there is ample retail still involved, idgaf.

Though it probably doesn't affect this project, I've heard that it's also close to impossible to get a clear title to a lot of the land there too.

What, non-creative, no design ability, architect designed that boring building? Give it something more than a block with a glass door if your going to build anything. Pick up a design magazine and get some inspiration, for heavens sake!
