My husband and I are moving to Charlotte in the end of March. We have searched for houses in the Southpark area. We are thinking of extending our search into the Ballantyne and Weddington areas.. any input on these locations.. do they have a much more rural feel? and what neighborhoods would you recommend. We are looking for more than .4 acres.

Price range? What size lot are you looking for? What do you mean by "rural feel?" - no conveniences for 10 miles, LOL, or greenways?

Have you contacted a realtor? He/she could be your best friend and ally in finding the right spot.

None of them have a rural feel. Southpark is yuppy, so is Ballantyne, Weddington is sprawl. Just bein honest.
