I am moving out there next month and my retired parents will be coming the following year. Their budget for a 3 bedroom, single level home is $200,000 and those areas listed seem to be most affordable surrounding the areas we are looking at. Since school districts and commuting is a non issue for them they are mostly wanting a safe area with shopping within 15-20 minutes and a nicer home that doesn't need a lot of updating. Just looking for more info. Any other areas retirees like? One retirement community we found in Mooresville seemed to have high HOAs. Thanks!
