NASCAR driver Mike Wallace attacked after Charlotte concert | WCNC.com

This attack happened after a country music concert at the PNC Pavilion in Charlotte the other night.

Pretty much every reaction I have seen to this story has been consistent with outrage at the act and sympathy for the victims. All of course except for the goons that did this. (This is the third incident recently at PNC involving these goons.)

One of them is employed (owns?) a local landscape business (and they were driving a company truck when this attack occurred). The company is now whining to the local news outlets to not judge the company because of this incident and it is unfair to their business.

Lucas Lawn and Landscaping statement on alleged assault of Mike - | WBTV Charlotte

Ummm... guess what??? Your company employs at least one of these goons and he used a company vehicle in the incident! That certainly opens your business up to criticism!!! Your corporate statement is a pathetic attempt to dissuade the culpability of the actions of your employee (with your company vehicle).

You replied to this situation incorrectly and put forth the same lack of intelligence in having someone draft this statement as you did when your representative attacked a middle-aged man and his daughter. Idiots!

Rant over...

Country music fans and pit bulls seem to be some of the worst people

Question The whole truth and nothing but

What's the whole story?
Per other news reports, witness says the Wallaces instigated the incident.
A middle-aged athlete and his adult daughter can inflict a lot of damage too, and they may share culpability.

I read the same thing (supposedly from one witness). It will be interesting to see what the truth is - if we ever find out.

I do find it hard to believe that Wallace and his daughter would start a physical altercation with three seemingly healthy young men.

If these three guys have had other recent physical altercations that certainly throws up a huge red flag...

First off, this guy is an employee, not the owner.

What he does on his own time, off the clock, while not involved in any actual work for the company, is certainly not something that the company is responsible for in any way. And given the story so far, I am sure the company will likely take action against this guy (if found guilty of any actual crime) for bringing this on their business.

I'm guessing that there are a fair number of keyboard warriors out there (who were not there and have no idea what fully transpired) slamming the business, leaving one-star reviews on yelp, etc. because of what this guy did. And that is complete B.S. But it seems that everyone loves to internet shame whenever they can - it makes them feel morally superior and self-righteous. And since they have no way to directly target the actual individual involved, they have decided to go after the company instead, even though there is no valid justification for doing so. But I'm sure these lonely, small-minded people walk away from the computer with a great sense of smug satisfaction for doing nothing productive.

Put some alcohol in someone, you would be amazed at what they think would be a good idea.

Right people. The guy arrested is only the president of the company so cut him some slack.

2 of the 3 arrested have their last name as "Lucas". Name of the business is "LUCAS lawn and landscaping".

Good luck with your logic. This company needs all the ish that social media is sending it's way. Hope they get shut down and these 3 get some jail time.

It's a shame to see adults act like this.
