I was finally was able to score a job IN the city (I've been working 45min NORTH of the city) and I'm ready to make my way to South Charlotte. My job will be near the Airport. I currently live in Concord and my lease expires in Sept.

My partner and I are planning on hopefully building a KB home in Berewick but are searching for an apartment that wouldn't give either of us a hellish commute. As I said before, I'll work near the airport and she works in the Southend of uptown.

We are considering somewhere in Ballentyne but are unsure of traffic. Atkins Circle looks like the kind of place we have our eyes on. Can anyone recommend an apartment complex or area? We also saw a complex on Tyvola Rd near the Coliseium called The Pointe that would be a great location, not so sure about crime.

THanks!

Stay away from the Pointe, I lived there years ago. I now live in Ballantyne..two totally different worlds. There are a ton of apartment complexes out here ..all VERY safe with lots of restaurants/shopping around.

I think the big question is what price range? that helps narrow it down a lot.

Price range would be no more than $750

Look into Wildwood 704-523-3385, I have no personal experience, however an associate gave me the name. Also, you might go to the website rentersrus.com to see what other places are available in that area. I have also heard good things about Strawberry Hill, but I am not sure about the price point.

Good Luck.
