I am looking for an apartment somewhere along the light rail or within walking OR biking distance to uptown. My budget is around $1,150 and I'd like to get a 1 bedroom apartment with access to AT&T Gigapower or the upcoming Google Fiber. No super strict requirements other than being a nice apartment with modern appliances.

So far I've looked at One305, QuarterSide, and a few more.

Have you looked on Apartments.com? You can search on a lot of different price points, bedroom requirements and other amenities based on keywords. Also, farther from uptown is typically going to be cheaper. My observation has been that the buildings farther from uptown tend to be larger to give something to those sacrificing proximity. I would also check out places a few blocks off the main line, still within walking distance.

I used to live at the Fountains Southend. Right on the Lynx! There's even a waiting/seating room with coffee and TVs etc. while you wait for the line. I loved it there. Should fit with your budget and requirements. Only moved because I moved in with my boyfriend.
