Auto repair classes. (Charlotte, Mooresville, Gaston: brokers, community college, live)

I'm from Charlotte, but cannot find anywhere to take some auto repair classes. I've done a lot of things (front end replacement, brakes, shocks, ball joints, fuel pumps, alternators, carb rebuilds, etc., but don't know much about tearing down an engine, how to do proper body work, etc. I have a large garage/workshop with lift and nearly every tool you can think of. Problem is, I don't have enough knowledge/skill to do all the things I want to. You would think in a city this large, there would be all kinds of training classes. I don't need any certifications. CPCC has classes for BMW, GM and Honda repair (of course, I'm a Dodge/Ford owner). Does anyone know of anywhere near(I'm around Independence and Idlewild) where I can learn more about welding, body work, engine overhaul, etc.? Or if anyone is willing to train me for a fee? Hell, I'd even let someone come up and use my nice shop to do their own work and help them for free if they teach me some skills. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Dodge/Ford dealership or a well respected mechanic looking to make some extra dinero on the side ???

You could also try volunteering for a smaller race team in return for education.

Thanks. I checked out UTI, and they have some awesome courses in other states (I'd love to take the Cummins course so I can work on my truck). Problem is, in Mooresville, the only course is a 51 week, full time class. I have a full time job, so that won't work.

I remember when most community colleges offered all kinds of classes. It's all IT stuff now...

No it isn't. You're just not looking in the right place. CPCC has lots of automotive repair classes in their continuing ed department:

Maybe u can get an ASE certificate in engine performance.
