I need some recommendations for quality home builders in the Denver area. Kingswood promptly dismissed our enquiry saying they don't build in that area (which is odd because I have seen at least 2 real estate listings of their homes for sale in that area). Anyway, looking for a reputable builder who doesn't cut corners and does nice quality finishing work. Thanks!
No matter with whom you contract, ask to see the homes. If he's truly a custom builder, his clients should allow you to see at least some of his work and be willing to talk to you.
Check his license and his standing with the NC Department of Revenue.

Check at the county buildings in Linconton & Gastonia as custom builders working in the Denver area are most likely coming out of Lincoln & Gaston counties. Even if they're coming out of Mecklenburg, they would be on record in those counties.
