We will be in the Lake Norman area for a 10 day vacation and was looking for some great kid friendly place's to eat. We will have 11 kids from age's 17-4 so looking for something fun for all of us. Last yr Rusty Rudder and Vinnie's was a hit and looking for something close to those type's of place's. Also if anyone know's of "specials" going on during the week anywhere would be great!!!

Any hot spot's for Adult's as well ~~

Thanks in advance!!

I would not consider Rusty Rudder to take that young of children nor do I consider that family dining

Two recommindations in true family experience is

Acropolis Cafe & Grill - Cornelius, NC 28031 - Reviews: Greek Restaurants, Caterers, Fast Food/Take Out

CookHouse Restaurant - Tasty Platter of Cornelius

both are very very affordable places to take kids and Cookhouse is now serving breakfast.

North Harbor Cafe is my favorite Lake Norman summer restaurant. As Superk says, though, it would be good for the older kids but not for the younger ones. His list is pretty exhaustive. Also Lupies at Huntersville has the best BLT in the county.

Nope Cheeseburger in Paradise trumps them all. Great atmosphere for all ages. If you do not go there you will never know. However, once you go you'll be back.

Lineburgers Steakhouse. Hands down the best steaks on the lake! I am a huge Outback Steakhouse guy and this place puts them in the gutter!!

Sunny's is the new place in Rosedale Commons located where Johnny Rockets used to be.

Positano Osteria is in Birkdale where Pike's used to be.

Also, I just noticed this yesterday, a new restaurant named Tin Pan Alley Pub & Pizza has taken over the location for Harvey's in Vermillion.

I also forgot to mention Proscuttio's as a great place for both kids and adults.

Lancaster's BBQ in Mooresville is really good and pretty affordable. Joel's Asian quisine on Williamson road in Mooresville is also good--less atmosphere unless you want to sit outside.
