Does anyone know anything about the Chick-fil-A demolition going on at the Arboretum? I knew it had been closed for several weeks, but yesterday I noticed they are knocking the whole building down. It's not often you see a Chick-fil-A being torn down. The building seemed perfectly fine to me, one of the larger ones that was remodeled not too very long ago. Just wondering if anyone has some inside info.
Google Maps lists this location as being Temporarily closed, so they might be replacing the location.
I took a look at the Street View image of the location, and this location looks very similar to the Crossroads Plaza location in Cary (which opened in the early 1990s)
It’s not uncommon for fast food restaurants to tear down and rebuild older locations (McDonald’s is notorious for this), but it isn’t as often that you will see Chick-Fil-A tear its own location down.
I heard they found a spider and knocking the whole building down was the only sure way to know they got it.
