I've done a teensy bit of research (just starting to look now) about moving to Charlotte from NYC metro (north NJ). I'm in government contracting, so I'd need to find something similar. It looks like there are a few options within Fort Mill SC but not much elsewhere. Is there anything I'm missing? Are there other large government/defense contractors outside of the city but within a commutable distance to Charlotte?
My husband is in online advertising/digital marketing so he'd likely be working within the actual city limits. Like I said, just starting out now with gathering data. Right now his commute is 90 minutes from our house in NJ to NYC so he wants to cut that down to under an hour at least. Is this even realistic??
