Are there any walk-in offices? (particularly in the South Park or Cornelius areas) I started feeling sick this morning and now I have some bumps on my leg that resemble a bite. Now while I think it's just mosquito bites, they don't have the traditional shape. Normally I wouldn't care but..with feeling sick too. I guess I should check it out.

You might want to go to an Urgent Care Clinic:
Here is a map w/ locations:
Area Map - Urgent Care - Services - Carolinas HealthCare System (http://www.carolinashealthcare.org/services/urgent_care/Locations.cfm - broken link)
Cost is higher than doc's offices. If you don't have insurance, tell them upfront and ask for a contract rate discount.
Look in the Yellow Pages under the "Emergency Minor Medical Facilities & Services" heading. There's a bunch of walk-in places throughtout the Charlotte area.
mm- i would've looked in the phone book if i had one. my complex was skipped over and im phonebook-less.
ani-that was my first fear. it doesnt appear to be a tick bite. and it itches. I started having a sore throat and runny nose and just feeling 'blah' the bites. One of the bites is a rounded triangle shape the other two are more blob shaped. I wouldn't be as freaked out except the one seems to have a pocket under the skin. But it could just be an allergic reaction. I hate going to the dr but I have a friend urging me to go so.. :-(

Your friend is right, you need to have it checked out. It could be something, or nothing. NC is ranked #1 nationally for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. They should change the name.
The description of the "pocket" is what concerns me from reading your post. (Thinking - could this be the beginnings of a blister). I have seen two bites from brown recluse. They start off as pretty plain looking, get worse over time. But I have never seen anyone who has MULTIPLE bites from a brown recluse and you have multiple bites, it sounds like.
"Initially, the bite may feel like a pinprick or go unnoticed. Some may not be aware of the bite for 2 to 8 hours. Others feel a stinging sensation followed by intense pain. Infrequently, some victims experience general systemic reactions that may include restlessness, generalized itching, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or shock. A small white blister usually initially rises at the bite site surrounded by a swollen area. The affected area enlarges and becomes red, and the tissue is hard to the touch for some time. The lesion from a brown recluse spider bite is a dry, blue-gray or blue-white, irregular sinking patch with ragged edges and surrounding redness--termed the "red, white, and blue sign." The lesion usually is 1½ inches by 2¾ inches or smaller. Characteristics of a bite are further discussed at http://www.amednews.com/free/hlsa0805."
Just go to the CMC urgent care right across from Phillips Place in Southpark.
I hope JMM went and will report back . . .
