I searched for threads on public tennis courts in this forum and there were only a couple with not many responses, but I'd like to try again.
Does anyone know of public tennis courts in the university area or nearby? I got my butt whooped by MY PARENTS this past weekend, so I need to practice so I can redeem myself next time I visit them. Of course they play 7 days a week and I haven't played 7 times in my life, but still.

Hey eman,it's dove season and almost deer season. What are you doing toting a tennis racket? Ha
I think there are some at Mallard Creek Park on Johnson-Oehler (sp?) Road next to the new Mallard Creek High School. Its kind of in the University area. Pretty sure that Reedy Creek does not have tennis courts.
Go to the local high school in your area. I live next door to one and the tennis courts are open to the public outside of school hours and school tennis practice and tournaments.
ok, so mallard creek park doesn't have any (checked their website but also drove thru just for fun) but mallard creek high school has some real nice looking courts, if anyone is interested in playing feel free to ding me. oh, by the way, I'm not good but am the type that can improve very quickly.
Holbrook Park in Huntersville (off Gilead Rd.) has tennis courts.
