Hi everyone, I discovered this site a little while ago.
I am a 20-yr old black female college student from Houston, TX & I am thinking about moving to NC (specifically Charlotte) after my graduation. I had a few questions, I am an English major & would like to go for my ACP (Alternative Certification Program) in North Carolina. Is there a demand for teachers in the Charlotte area, preferably for elementary & secondary education?
Also, what is the scene like for young adults in their early 20's? I don't party/drink that often but I do like to go out w/ friends to go dancing every once in awhile, how is the nightlife and the singles scene? I would like to date w/ the intentions of marriage? I am also a Christian & would like to know if there are any ethnically-diverse churches in the area?
I apologize for all of the questions but there's so much I'd like to know. I will continue searching for past threads. Would you recommend Charlotte for a 20--soon to be 21 yr old black girl? Thanks for the replies everyone.
