We have family and friends coming to Charlotte for our daughter's baptism and we are trying to organize a Saturday night dinner and Sunday lunch for everyone. It will be between 20-25 people for each meal. Saturday night we are hoping to be in South Charlotte (Arboretum to Ballantyne area) and our church is in Dilworth, so we're looking for lunch locations in Dilworth/South End area. Any suggestions for restaurants that have rooms that can be reserved? Thanks in advance for your help!

Although I have not been to Maggiano's here in Charlotte, I did a few business events with them in So Cal & Las Vegas. With 20 to 25 people if you are paying for the event I would just pre-order a family style meal and everything will just start being served and it will be so easy, you can choose the following.

FAMILY STYLE LUNCH
Appetizers - Choose 2
Salads - Choose 2
Pasta - Choose 2
Entrees - Choose 2
Desserts - Choose 2

FAMILY STYLE DINNER
Appetizers - Choose 2
Salads - Choose 2
Pasta - Choose 2
Entrees - Choose 2
Vegetables - Choose 2 for Additional $3.00 per Person
Desserts - Choose 2

For dessert, I must recommend the homemade Profiteroles, they are to die for! You can go on-line and check out their banquet menu.

Village Tavern in Ballantyne Village has a side room that could probably accommodate that number.

In the Elizabeth area the restaurant Carpe Diem has a room that can be reserved. Have only been there once, but loved it!!

PS:
Carpe Diem is close to the Presbyterian Hospital, just on the southern edge of Uptown.

Check Encore in Blakeney. I know they have a room...just not sure what the capacity is.

Maggianoes has a nice room that would be perfect for that size group. I went to a Christening party there about a year ago and the family style thing worked very well.
