Hi everyone!

Can anyone suggest a good place to get a new transmission for a ten year old mini van?

This is for my friend, and she has her van at the shop now, but it's going to be over a week or two before they can order/install it. I don't know if this is normal or not? I just thought I could post and get your opinions.

Thank you (and a thank you from my friend as well).

Have a great night!

My transmission is starting to kick and I fear I'm going to have to get it worked on in the near future. So, I'm listening for the advice as well.

Transdrive Transmissions in Charlotte on South Blvd. They are located in the same building as Metrolina Jeep/Dodge. They are very honest and reasonable. Their number is 704-643-6050.

Default Transmission repair shop

My hubby had to get a transmission for his car last week. Meineke recommended a place called BSB Transmissions on Concord Parkway in Concord. They had his transmission finished and running great in one day. We dropped it off the night before and they were finished by 5:00. They were honest, fast and friendly. The shop doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a father-son business with over 27 years of experience. I can't guarantee that the price was the lowest cause we never did price comparisons. We needed the car done quickly and they delivered. It came with a full 1 year warranty also. The sons name is Steve and their phone # is 704-788-3737. Hope this helps.
