I'm looking at house rentals in these areas so, if anyone has any rental websites or companies suggestions. I'd appreciate that as well. I'm used to living in surburban areas where everything you need( gas, grocery, fast food etc) is minutes away but with low crime and quiet streets. Which of these areas would best fit that description?

Concord seems to have a little bit of everything and pretty affordable. I'm kind of in my own little sanctuary where I live, one of the nicer parts of Concord which is closer to Harrisburg. My complex has two or three Concord policemen living in it and nothin' shady really goes on around here.
With most spots in Concord you won't be very far at all from I-85, although depending on where you are it could be a little more of a trek to I-77. My closest access point to 85 is right along Bruton Smith Blvd, although you can get it right off of 29 closer to Kannapolis as well.
Route 29 pretty much has everything you might be used to (a Super Walmart, various grocery stores, gas stations, fast food places). I'm set in a bit and it generally takes me closer to five minutes to get to 29. But it's pretty much all there.

In my end of town I'm less than ten minutes from the track, fifteen minutes away from a monster of a shopping mall, Concord Mills Mall, and Bruton Smith/Speedway Blvd which has a ton of other stores and chain restaurants. There's so much on that strip that by Saturday afternoon you're looking for a back way to get to where you need to go (or don't bother at all) as it can back up for a few miles solid.
It probably takes me about 25 or so minutes to get to uptown Charlotte from where I am, not at all a bad trip.
The cons that I've found is that Concord not so much goes downhill but becomes slightly less desirable in certain spots well away from where I am. I've never really heard of much trouble but it's just not the greatest of areas the closer to Kannapolis you get. Another con might be the two race weeks and the two auto fair weekends at the track. That entire area can become one giant clusterf**k traffic-wise and in a hurry. To me it's a more than fair trade off.
As far as your description, Concord fits yours pretty easily.
