Hello to every one in the Charlotte area. I am currently considering moving from Phoenix Arizona to your area, but I know very little about the place. I have two teenagers who will be attending high school so I would like to live in an area with good schools, affordable housing, good job opportunities and low crime rates. I would appreciate any information or opinions anyone has to offer. Thank you

Where do you think you would be working? What price range are you looking at?

As I was saying Moderator cut: off topic...there are some very helpful web links ABOUT THE CHARLOTTE AREA that you might be interested in. Since I can't tell you what they are you could try google. Charlotte area websites make no reference to me personally or professionally.

Thank you by good potential neighbors for the information. If anyone thinks of anything else please let me know. Most of my job experience is in Administration, legal, and customer service, but I am flexible. I am not sure about price ranges. Here on average mortgage and utilities are about 1,500. I would prefer something less expensive.

Do you mean $1500. in rent? Or are you looking to buy a home and have a mortgage at that rate? If you want to rent do you want only a house, our would you rent a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment?
