I know there are many older threads on petsitting and boarding. I'm hoping for more recent recommendations on petsitters. I would really prefer someone that will stay in the home with them if possible. We have 1 large and one small dog. Our dogs have never been alone all night because we've always had family that could come stay with them but we are new to Charlotte. Thanks for the help!

Where are you located in Charlotte? How much would you pay?

Hi!

Welcome to Charlotte!

I love our pet sitter. We have used her for over six years.

I will pm you with her name and number, as I don't have it in front of me at the moment.

Both she and her daughter can do overnight pet visits, along with house sitting. She's also great about taking care of turning the lights on/off, making sure the paper and mail is in every day, watering plants, etc.

I'll pm as soon as I find her card.

If you have a vet, you probably know a pet sitter. Quite a lot of vet tech do pet sitting. Call them and ask. It helps that they can access your dogs' records and know what to do in an emergency.
